About the Weekday Preschool

Curriculum: The Christian curriculum, Pray & Play Bible for Young Children, is used as our foundation. A variety of other curriculum resources are used to plan a well-rounded activity plan to meet each child's individual needs.

Ages: Programs are available for ages six months through 5 years. Parents have the option of registering their child 2-5 days. Tuesday/Thursday; Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Monday though Friday are suggested options.

School days and times: The Weekday Preschool operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with options for Before Care and After Care (at an additional cost). Before Care is from 7:15 am - 9:00 am. After Care is from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The Metro Schools calendar is used for all regularly scheduled school closings as well as inclement weather, and there is no reduction in fees for those closings.

Staff: All staff members are well-qualified Christians who come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Teachers receive CPR and First Aid training annually. Teachers are also required to attain at least 20 hours annually in continuing education workshops. This helps ensure that our staff remains well-trained and up-to-date on research in the field of educating young children.

Tours: Tours of the Weekday Preschool are given Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the hours of 9:30 am and Noon.
